Thank you very much Bram and Armand for your help and for having us. We really enjoyed our stay in the Villa.
We had a pleasant stay at Villa Groot Geluk. The communication with the owner was quick and prompt and Armand, the housekeeper was a big help and always at hand, when we needed him. As we had a little trouble getting to Curacao, Bram and Armand where really flexible and helpful to make everything possible. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, and we had more than enough space for our party of 8 people. We loved the outside area, especially the big table on the balcony and really enjoyed the big pool, which was very clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, same to the outside kitchen. A supermarket and some restaurants are close by, as well as the Jan Thiel Beach; you can easily reach everything by foot. Although the house and its environment are really great, some of the utility installation is aging. Especially in regions like Curacao where it is important to save resources, a running toilet or inadequate insulation can quickly lead to unnecessary and unwanted consumption. During our stay it has proven useful to regularly check the electricity as well as the water consumption and to seek dialog with Bram and Armand in case of irregularities. But as we immediately told Armand about the problems, he and Bram very quickly took remedial action and were very accommodating concerning the billing. Thank you very much Bram and Armand for your help and for having us. We really enjoyed our stay in the Villa.

Amazingly beautiful home and pool, centrally located, far exceeded our expectations
We came to Curacao with a group of 6 adults and this home was perfect for us. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and has plenty of cross ventilation with all is the large doors opened. The pool was extremely clean (it was serviced twice in the 6 days we were there) and felt very refreshing. The home definitely accommodates large groups including two large outdoor eating areas, two full size refrigerators and a large bbq area/outdoor kitchen. The bedrooms stayed cool with the individual AC units and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The manager, Armad, was quick to come and help with any needs or questions and we appreciated his help. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and would absolutely stay here again.

Mooi huis waar nog steeds verbeteringen aan worden gedaan. Echt loopafstand van boulevard en strand van Jan Thiel. De boot naar klein curaçao, de Mermaid, vertrekt zowat om deh hoek.

What a fantastic exclusive villa within walking distance of Jan Thiel Beach. A villa where you can completely relax, thanks to the fine 'ibiza' style furnishings and the many facilities that the villa has to offer. A pleasant outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by lovely sun beds and a nice lounge. The outdoor kitchen completes the 'outdoor experience'. The villa also has a spacious patio, where we could have a delicious breakfast in the morning. The villa consists of 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.On arrival in the dark we were pleasantly received by the representation on site. Everything was clearly explained and if there were any questions during the stay, we could always app, very nice! The villa is in very good condition and well maintained. The kitchen of the villa is fully equipped with all the utensils you need for a delicious dinner.In addition, a top location, a 2-minute drive from Jan Thiel Beach! This villa gives you the real holiday feeling. See you soon!Stayed in this villa for a week at the beginning of May, it is located in a top location in Jan Thiel with lots of privacy. You can't imagine it being there. If it wasn't there, the caretaker would come by to arrange it. A top villa and definitely worth going back to.Have now been able to stay twice. The location, tranquility and last but not least the outdoor kitchen are unique.By using the bungalow also suitable for 2 families. Close to shops and the beach of Jan Thiel.I have stayed in villa Groot lucky in October 2020. When you enter you immediately get a holiday feeling. A stay that you really dream of! Waking up in a quiet environment and a lovely swimming pool. The villa is perfectly located, close to the beach of Jan Thiel. Furthermore, everything is easily accessible by car. I really experienced the 10 days as a holiday and that is certainly due to this beautiful villa. I definitely recommend this villa because it really doesn't miss anything! I will definitely come back again!The moment you arrive at the Villa you notice that this location is slightly different. In the case of our tour group, it was in the dark. The villa is located on a hill a stone's throw from Jan Thiel Beach and is warmly lit all around. After being dropped off you are welcomed by the large patio which you enter through the gate. The Villa logo is displayed above the front door. The caretaker opens the door for us and before we know it we are in the living room/kitchen with an amazing high ceiling up to the ridge. The rear slatted door is slid open, after which the open character of the house becomes visible and the 'oasis' shows itself to us. The owner also talks about an oasis on her website, and that becomes clear from the patio. From here you look down into a deep garden, a great large private swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen under an authentic Palapa, meters high palm trees and everywhere to sit and relax. We understand that Oasis is so emphasized; many other villas on Jan Thiel have a 'built-up' terrace and swimming pool, which means that you are sitting on a large part of a concrete garden, in the spotlights of everyone who walks down the street or looks into your house from other houses. Above all, this villa has a sense of privacy, a sense of its own world away from everything. We had a wonderful week where nothing was missing. Beach and top restaurants within walking distance, as well as the supermarket. Thank you for taking good care of us and we will definitely come back here again!
